As a practicing artist with a background in fine-art and gallery curatorial work I have an understanding of framing needs from both sides of the fence. I can guide you on which frames would best protect and enhance your artwork.
I offer a consultation service that includes a visit to your home or business premises to advise on the best framing for your unique context.
Bespoke Framing
Tailored to your unique vision, my bespoke framing service ensures your artworks are displayed and preserved to perfection. Every frame is made with care to complement and protect your treasures.
I offer mount-only solutions too - useful for artists selling un-framed artworks.
Re-mounting and frame restoration is also a possibility for artworks when their means of display has become damaged or jaded.
My Specialism
Most of my frames are hand-finished, with staining, painting, waxing and polishing done by hand to ensure a unique, extra-special look that contemporary artwork deserves.
I offer batch-framing at discounted rates for artists preparing for exhibitions.
Frames can be supplied 'raw' for further cost-saving. In this case I use professional framing equipment to cut and join bare wood frames. You then paint and finish the frame yourself. I can cut and supply glass and backing board if needed too.
